Beenham parish covers Beenham village, outlying residencies and a small section of Aldermaston Wharf. There are approximately 1,000 residents in the parish.
Beenham Parish Council owns the Recreation Ground in Beenham which includes a play area, outdoor gym equipment, basketball hoop and a football pitch. The Parish Council also owns and maintains a number of dog waste, litter and salt/grit bins in the parish. Other assets are a number of benches around the village, the red telephone box which is used as book swap library and the bus shelter at Stoneyfield.
The Parish Council manages the Community Room and (out of school hours) the School Hall at Beenham Primary School. Both facilities are available to hire from the Parish Council.
Additionally, the Parish Council is pleased to support the community by providing an area of land to Beenham Allotments Association. The Parish Council rents the site from a third party and then leases it to the Association for a minimal fee.
The Parish Council further supports local community groups by providing grants to a number of organisations. If your organisation would like to apply for a grant please contact the Parish Clerk.
